In this session, participants will develop a better understanding about how to move beyond multicultural education to promote equity and justice in early childhood. During this session, topics related to the different forms of racism, including how they show up in early childhood spaces will be discussed. At the conclusion of the session, participants will learn about culturally responsive anti-bias educational practices that can be used to improve equity efforts in early childhood. There will be many opportunities for open, honest conversations, which are the foundation of deep transformational change.
